Doug Phillips is blogging on a conference entitled “The 200 Year Plan: A Practicum on Multi-Generational Faithfulness.” He includes these interesting statistics:”Now a story out of London is reporting that the birth rates of Muslims is going to outnumber the Roman Catholic churchgoers in just twelve years: ‘Based on a study by Christian Research, mosque-going Muslims in England and Wales would reach 683,000 by 2020, outnumbering Catholic churchgoers who would number 679,000 by that time. It also cites that over the same period the number of Muslims at mosques will overtake Church of England members at Sunday services.’”

Agree or not with all that Phillips has to say, it would do you well to scroll through his blog to be challenged and encouraged in regard to a multi-generational family vision. How many Christians view God’s gift of the family in such a way? I am afraid not nearly enough. But perhaps that noise you hear is the sound of an approaching revival.
